PGL's first Apex Legends tournament introduced a lot of brand-new top-level features in the scene
Earlier this year, PGL managed to provide the first-ever Counter-Strike: Global Offensive 4K 60 fps broadcast, and now it was the right time to do the same thing with an Apex Legends tournament.
First of all, the viewers had the chance to experience an unprecedented 4K 60 fps quality stream on PGL's YouTube channel.
PGL's trademark Augmented Reality innovations were also present during PGL APEX LEGENDS SHOWDOWN. The host, Jon "Falloutt" Kefaloukos, analyst James "Jamerson" and the casters, Mark "Onset" Hatcher and Dan Gaskin, left their homes to virtually join the famous drop-ship from the Apex universe.
The post-match champion squad segment was also reworked by the PGL team to provide a fresh and spectacular view of the map’s best players.
Apex Legends is a beloved and extremely complex title and one of the most important things is to have an in-depth analysis to help the viewers to have a clearer picture of the match.
Above all, we are Apex Legends fans and it is great to have the opportunity to make our mark on this scene. We worked hard in the past months, and now, we are happy to offer this gift to this incredible community. It was worth every minute
