Jumping to CS:GO, PGL had shifted the game's records in terms of viewership since October 2021, when PGL Major Stockholm 2021 took place. The event was an immense success, with 2 748 434 viewers during the most watched segment of the competition. At that point, it was more than double the previous most-watched CS:GO tournament. The next CS:GO Major was hosted by PGL in May 2022. PGL Major Antwerp 2022 gathered a 2 113 610 "Peak Viewers" number, and the tournament sits in second place of the most-watched CS:GO tournaments of all time.
Over 20.000 enthusiastic CS:GO fans attended the final day of the PGL Antwerp Major, making it the largest indoor esport event ever.
