- Community broadcasters can only broadcast DOTA TV feeds on their stream. Showcasing any of the officially produced broadcast feeds, including those of PGL’s official broadcast partners, is not allowed. Please follow this rule strictly to avoid potential copyright infringement violations.
- Community broadcasts are permitted only in a non-commercial manner, therefore we ask you not to have any brand & sponsor materials visible either on your stream feed (i.e. sponsor overlays, logos, transitions, physical sponsor logos or merchandise, etc.) as well as your channel page (sponsor banners, logos, etc.) while you are covering the event’s games, including breaks between games and/or series.
- (Russian language only) Community broadcasters must set a 5-minute additional delay for online events on top of the existing 15-minute DotaTV delay and a 3-minute additional delay for offline events on their channel/stream for the broadcast duration of any PGL Dota 2 content. This delay must be set in your Twitch/YouTube settings or your broadcasting software (OBS, etc.)
- Unlicensed commercial broadcast entities (linear & digital) are, by default, not allowed to act as community broadcasters. Individual broadcasts performed by employed community members of non-partnered commercial broadcast entities also qualify as commercial broadcasts and, thus, are not allowed.
- Community broadcasters are not permitted to use professional studio-level broadcasting features (i.e., centralized-broadcast feed, replays, highlights, etc.), nor can they have a physical set featuring multiple talents.
- Please ensure that your viewers are informed that the views, thoughts, and opinions expressed in the stream belong only to you and not the tournament organizers.
- You should not claim to represent the PGL, Valve, or any of PGL’s official partners in any form.
- It is your responsibility to maintain a clean and positive image around PGL Dota 2 events during coverage of the tournament within your broadcasts. This includes but is not limited to the social media, responses, words, and actions of you and others you choose to broadcast with.
- Russian-speaking community broadcasters must include an Info Box that links to the language's main broadcast channel (the image to be used is attached to this article).
- PGL reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify the Community Broadcast Guidelines or any part thereof.
